Cadbury Could Be Bringing Back Caramilk Chocolate After Stocks Flew Off Shelves

Supermarkets had to limit shoppers to two blocks per sale last time so you better be quick.

Classic chocolate flavours are classic for a reason: people absolutely bloody love them.

However, when a chocolate maker goes out on a limb and creates a new block for everyone to enjoy, it can either being incredible or a complete strike out.

It was definitely the former when Cadbury decided to release Caramilk, the delicious caramel flavoured white chocolate.

People went ballistic at the flavour and supermarkets ended up restricting shoppers to two blocks each. They were wiped off the shelves and everyone has been wondering when they'll next be restocked.

People even started listing blocks of the caramel coloured chocolate online for more than $150 - which is just outrageous if you ask us.

Well, it seems like we could be getting them sooner than we thought.

Facebook page The Grocery Geek updated their followers that they have it on good authority that Cadbury will be relaunching Caramilk later this month or early next month.

One person commented on the post saying: "Definitely true I ordered a fair bit of stock for my shop today. Will be on special for $2.40 a block early September At all IGA's.

Now if you're thinking 'what's the big deal', people take Caramilk very bloody seriously.

Christian Hull started a petition on Change.org asking for Cadbury to make the flavour a permanent fixture and not just for limited edition.

Incredibly, the petition received nearly 19,000 signatures with many people calling for the same.

One person wrote: "I didn't even get to try It and I'm angry that they would keep filthy marvellous creations on shelves for YEARS when nobody wants it but they stop Caramilk before people even get to try it?"

Another added: "People are getting bad withdrawals. Immediately start production again please!"

We're yet to get official word from Cadbury, but you'll know we'll announce it the moment we do.
