Cadbury Releases A Limited Edition Caramel Twirl Bar

Chocolate lovers rejoice

Chocolate lovers rejoice. Cadbury has a limited edition caramel Twirl. It sounds too good to be true right?

This limited edition caramel twirl bar looks like a regular Twirl. There's no gooey caramel in the middle and the swirls of chocolate aren't a caramel colour.

So where's the caramel goodness you ask?

Well, it's cleverly constructed within the bar itself as caramel-flavoured milk chocolate. Sadly, it looks as though the chocolate treat is only available in Australia for the time-being. Gutted.

However if this seems like your kind of thing and you're based in the UK, you may also be interested to know that Nestle is bringing back its limited edition tubes of orange Smarties, filling the chocolate orange void for anyone who deems a Terry's Chocolate Orange something that's just for Christmas.

Alex Gonnella, Marketing Director for Nestlé's UK, said: "Orange Smarties are so popular that we simply had to bring them back this season.

"People love their distinctive flavour and they are our number one consumer request. The giant tubes launched last autumn were sold out in some stores within a few weeks from the launch and we have been inundated with requests from people all over the country asking us whether they could still get hold of some.

"Orange Smarties are slightly more difficult to manufacture in high volume, given the different process and recipe required to get that orange-y taste but our experts have been hard at work to make it happen and we are really pleased that we can offer them again this spring."

What's more, you'll also be able to get your mitts on the chocolatey orange treat in Easter egg and mini egg form - which, along with the Orange Smarties tubes, are available across the UK and Ireland.

The Orange Smarties egg features an orange flavour milk chocolate egg, which is also filled with Orange Smarties Mini Eggs inside.

Nestle

"The orange ones are the only Smarties that have their own flavour and they have their very own cult following because of that."

According to the Nestle website, the orange Smarties are flavoured with 'natural orange oil', while there's no mention of any other special flavourings for the other coloured Smarties.

Apparently, though, it's the shell and not the actual the chocolate that holds the orange flavour. Who knew?

Get 'em before they're gone.
