These days UK customers just don't seem satisfied with the classic English breakfast formula. They want something bigger, something better, something . . . served up in a pizza box.

That's the idea behind this behemoth of a breakfast, offered by Hull-based restaurant Katerleanae's Café.

Simply titled the 'Mega-breakfast', this whopping fry-up is so monstrous, it can only be served up in a 16-inch pizza box.

As one of the biggest breakfast's in the country - costing £14.99 - the gut-busting meal consists of eight sausages, six rashers of bacon, four eggs, four hash browns, four black puddings, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes and four slices of toast.

We're sure you'll agree that's an unnecessary number of ingredients, although come hangover day and no doubt half of Hull University's student base can be found trying to take on the mega-feast.

The café's owner Katerleanae Carroll reckons she serves the largest full English in the city. Speaking to the Hull Daily Mail, she said: "I can't say it is 100 percent but from what I've heard it is at the moment.

"We were doing an extra large breakfast but people were saying they wanted more, so my son came up with the Mega-Breakfast and it's been a massive hit ever since."

Quite a few people get it for sharing but on Facebook some people are trying to compete against each other.

"We have got people coming from all over for the Mega-Breakfast but there's a lot of people taking menus as well for the other food."

So what do you reckon - think you could hack it?

A 16-inch pizza is a tough enough feat in itself, but an entire box full of rich black pudding, meat, and bread?

You'd need an iron stomach to polish the whole thing off (as well as a few packets of trusty Rennie).

They do say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. In the case of the Mega-breakfast, it might well be the only meal of the day.
