Golden Gaytime has been a fan favourite ice-cream in Australia for decades.

Everyone loves the creamy ice-cream teamed with the crunchy honeycomb, making it as Australian as Fairy Bread, Lamingtons and Vegemite.

But after all these decades delighting people who put it in their gob, they've barely changed the recipe.

Well, the company behind the iconic ice-cream, Streets has decided to team up with an unlikely source: Krispy Kreme. The two have fused the best parts of themselves to create these two masterpieces.

Introducing the Krispy Kreme inspired Golden Gaytime ice cream and a Golden Gaytime Krispy Kreme Doughnut.

Krispy Kreme chief marketing officer Russell Schulman said: "We know our customers love a unique spin on our iconic Krispy Kreme doughnut, and this exciting collaboration is something Aussies have been ice-screaming for. It won't disappoint."

Essentially, what we've got here is a Golden Gaytime ice-cream with sprinklings of glazed Krispy Kreme doughnut as well as a doughnut with Golden Gaytime crunchy honeycombs littered on top.

What could possibly be better?

Now, the question you've all been waiting for: how many calories will these bad boys be? Well the ice-cream has 249calories while the doughnut has 362calories, even though the ice cream is bigger in size.

These will be available at all 7-Elevens around the country from today so tuck in.
