McDonald's Will Introduce Triple Cheeseburgers To Menus Next Week

McDonald's Will Introduce Triple Cheeseburgers To Menus Next Week

Cheeseburger fans, rejoice. McDonald's will be introducing the triple cheeseburger to its saver menu and it'll be coming as soon as next week.

This comes off the back of a trial where customers in Yorkshire were among the first to try the new addition as it was tested across 60 restaurants in February.

In a statement, the fast food giant said: "Following a successful trial period earlier this year, the Triple Cheeseburger will now officially join the Saver Menu as a permanent addition from Wednesday 2 September."

What's more, the triple cheeseburger - which is exactly the same as the normal cheeseburger/double cheeseburger but just with three patties - can be yours from just £2.19.

Fans are clearly buzzing for the release, one wrote: "First McDonald's bring back double quarter pounder and now bringing triple cheeseburger f***ing stop wee chubby guy wants to lose weight."

Another added: "Turkey twizzlers, @CadburyUK chocolate orange buttons and now the @McDonalds triple cheeseburger?! 2020 is trying to make a come back."

As well as the triple cheeseburger, McDonald's has also brought back the Chicken Legend, Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese, Carrot Sticks, Hot Apple Pie, Regular Toffee Latte and Millionaire's Donut.

However, if you're still not fancying going to your local Maccies, why not try and do what Jamie Rust did with his pals and recreate classic dishes...

The 30-year-old from Essex, took on the Restaurant Roulette challenge run by Altons BBQ World and said he became quite the dab-hand behind the grill during lockdown, which he thinks gave him the edge.

Speaking to LADbible, he said: "I'm a keen BBQer, taking it more seriously during lockdown, because let's be honest, there's been bugger all else to do.

"And I've been really pushing myself to create new and interesting things on the BBQ."

So when the opportunity came up for him to test his skills, he didn't hold back, forking out £60 ($78) on the ingredients to make his own Big Mac, fries, Filet-O-Fish and apple pie. Fair play to him.
