Growing up in Australia in the 80s and 90s, there wasn't the abundance of ice creams that you have today.

These days, you can walk into any convenience store and be overwhelmed with choice.

You might want to chow down on a Maxibon, a Magnum, a Bubble O' Bill, a Milo Scoop Shake, a Drumstick or a Frosty Fruit.

Back in the day though, the only thing most people flocked to was the good ole Paddle Pop. Whether you're a rainbow, chocolate or banana type person, there was actually a fourth flavour that has been discontinued for years...until now.

Streets

Streets Ice Cream has made the bold decision to bring back the Caramel Choc Paddle Pop.

Streets brand manager, Samantha Jarmul told news.com.au: "We're so pleased to announce the return of the caramel choc, fondly remembered by those growing up in the '80s and '90s.

"Now they have the chance to enjoy their childhood memory of caramel goodness with their own children, and it tastes just as great."

Sadly this isn't a permanent fixture and they'll only be available for a limited time, but the good news is they're up for sale from today.

You'll be able to tuck into these bad boys at Coles and most convenient stores across the country. No doubt this will kick your 80s and 90s nostalgia into overdrive.

Brb, while I go to Coles and buy as many as I can.
