Lazy, or life-changing? People can't decide

Sometimes, you simply don't have enough time to take ten minutes out to eat your dinner - and for those that need at least one functioning hand while they concentrate on something else at the same time, McDonald's has you covered.

In what can only be described as pure inspiration, the fast food chain has shared an image that we didn't know we were desperate for and has shown us how to eat a full Maccies meal with just one hand.

That's right - it means we are blessed with the gift of more time to do other things, like drive or play FIFA, or whatever takes your fancy, really, while also eating fries.

The life changing Instagram post can be seen below - who knew that their packaging was so versatile?

Mind blown.

In true flat-pack IKEA style, the graphic shows you how to assemble your packaging to create the one-handed meal station.

The chain shared it with the caption: "Fancy a one-handed meal? Simply unfold your burger box to make a fries tray, then perch it on your soft drink. Easy as."

All you have to do is open out the burger box; ever wondered what the gap was for in the fold of the container? The answer now seems oh-so-obvious - it's so that you can stick it on top of your drink, using the straw for structural integrity.

With burger in one side, the other half is left free for fries - tip them in and there you have it. An all in one eating machine, which you can lift up to your face and use the straw as usual.

But - opinions are divided. While some are hailing the trick as the best idea ever, some (boring people) are saying it's the height of laziness. In my eyes, those things can never be mutually exclusive.

One Instagram user commented: "Imagine being this lazy."

Well - I feel attacked. But whatever. I'm too lazy to do anything about it.

Another got a bit too practical for my liking, posting: "Putting hot food on top of a cold drink ain't a good idea lmao."

Someone else is clearly well ahead of the game, replying: "Who doesn't do this?"

But one person has won, blowing all of our tiny little minds by solving an actual real life problem: "Or when eating a messy burger, put your pinkies in the slit of the box of the burger, whilst holding the burger. So the contents land in the box."

Incredible skills - get this man a medal.
