Correct me if I'm wrong, but there is no other drink that goes better with a Sunday roast than a large glass (alright, bottle) of red.

So imagine my excitement when I found out that a bottomless red wine Sunday roast was in existence. Yep, that's right. Roasted meats and red wine, in copious amounts. What a time to be alive.

The aptly named 'Red Roast' really could not have come at a better time, summer's gone, forget about it. It's all carbs and gravy from here until January.

It's also got a bit of a Game of Thrones red wedding vibe, hasn't it?

To attend one of these magical 'Red Roasts', you'll need to visit one of four D&D restaurants, where you can expect unlimited refills of Bordeaux red wine to accompany your plateful of golden spuds and essential Yorkshire puds.

My mouth is watering already. Just look how delicious it looks:

Are you having that?

Restaurants participating in the 'Red Roast' include the Butler's Wharf and Paternoster Chop House (which, fun fact, is the First Dates restaurant).

All venues will be serving up some quality cuts, such as Waveney Valley pork belly, roast sirloin and braised Welsh lamb shoulder. Oh and of course, all the appropriate trimmings. Shut up and take my money.

Skylon restaurant will also be serving up a 'Red Roast', while offering up its riverside views in accompaniment. Pretty fancy. Until you spill red wine and gravy all down yourself, anyway.

But, if you're looking for somewhere that will cater for a larger group, then you can head down to New Street Grill, where you can tuck into sharing platter of Welsh lamb, roast chicken for two or rib of beef.

The 'Red Roast' offer is an additional £15, on top of whatever your roast costs, but I think that's totally worth it for unlimited supplies of the red stuff.

Oh, and be sure to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

You're welcome.
