Australians love their servo selections while they're filling up their fuel.

Whether it's the vast array of ice-creams, pies and sausage rolls, or chocolates, it can sometimes be hard to make a pick of what you want, especially on a long drive.

Well, a South Australian confectionery producer has just unveiled its latest concoction that will mean you won't have to choose next time you're at the servo.

Introducing the incredible and delicious sounding Violet Crumble Golden Gaytime.

The Gaytime is a favourite ice-cream amongst Aussies, what with its creamy inside and honeycomb pieces on the outside. But fusing it with Violet Crumble is an absolute game changer that could really switch things up for summer.

Robern Menz acquired the iconic Violet Crumble from Nestlé early last year, meaning it was able to make the big deal with Streets.

Interestingly, the Violet Crumble definitely didn't fare well in one Aussie dad's rankings of the best chocolates in the country.

Bruno Bouchet, a Sydney-based managing director and former Kyle & Jackie O radio show producer, decided to grab 16 choccies and line them up.

The categories were ranked from 'God', then 'Royalty', 'Adam Sandler' aka 'Take it or leave it', then 'Pleb' and bringing in the rear was 'Would rather eat a bucket of cat vomit'. Sadly, the Violet Crumble landed in the bottom category, alongside Milky Way, Chokito and Bounty.

The same guy created a list of his favourite ice creams and, thankfully, Golden Gaytimes fared a little better.

In Bruno's rankings, the humble Gaytime was in the 'Pleb' tier, which no doubt caused a stir amongst lovers of the ice cream.

But if you're a fan of both these products then you'll absolutely love that they've been fused together by the food gods.
