Monopoly games can be pretty intense at the best of times, as you watch on helpless from behind bars as your mum steadily financially decimates your little sister.

But if you fancy upping the ante even further, there's a new Breaking Bad version of the classic board game that brings meth and crime to the table.

Breaking Bad Monopoly now exists.

Instead of the little dog and the boot, players will have a choice of Heisenberg's hat, Tio's bell, a money barrel, a gas mask, a pink teddy bear or an RV as their counter. Houses are referred to as 'Tented Houses' and hotels as 'SuperLabs', while the board features locations such as Los Pollos Hermanos, Uncle Jack's Compound, JP Wynne High School and Schrader House.

Players are advised to 'tread lightly' in this game, which is recommended for 17+.

A description of the game reads: "Players will want to 'tread lightly' to buy, sell, and trade properties to be the last one standing in this risky version of Monopoly based on AMC's hit series Breaking Bad!

"Familiar locations and tokens based on iconic items from the show such as Heisenberg Hat, RV, Tio's Bell and more will take fans back through the sordid evolution of Walter White and his own capitalistic plan."

Let's cook. And play Monopoly.

The game has been released by Hasbro licensee USAopoly and unfortunately it is currently only available in the US, priced at $39.99 (£32.23).

Fear not though if you live in the UK - and like Stranger Things just as much - because you can get your hands on that version instead.

Hasbro has given the game a makeover, transporting players to Hawkins, with usual houses and hotels replaced by hideouts and forts (which glow in the dark), while Chance cards have been swapped out for Blinking Light cards.

A description of the game reads: "In this Monopoly game inspired by the Netflix Original Series, Stranger Things, Will Byers has gone missing.

"Players choose an 80s-inspired token or one 'ripped from the Upside Down' to move around the board trying to find him. Search the town, travel through the locations of Hawkins, and avoid getting trapped in the upside down. Time is running out - and the Monster is out there, somewhere, looking for you..."

You can buy it now on Amazon in the UK for £22.99 ($28.52) - down from its £25.99 ($32.24) RRP - and it comes with free delivery within the UK.
