Sometimes you see little acts of generosity that really restore your faith in humanity. It could be watching a student hand over the last of their change to a homeless person, or even someone giving away their last Malteser. It just warms your heart.
We don't always have to be so shit to each other. I've never really understood being mean on purpose. Surely, that gives you a rotten feeling in your stomach?

Ryan O'Donnell, 34, was snapped after he paid for an elderly woman's shopping in full. Why? Well, her card was repeatedly refused.
Twitter user Luke shared the photo with the caption: 'This guy at Wyoming Coles who just went through the register with his two kids paid for this ladies groceries when her card kept declining.'
Ryan was tracked down and interviewed by 9news.
He explained that he'd just finished paying for his own shopping: "I went around and spoke to the young lady and said, how much is it? And they said, look, it's like $44 or something and her card kept being declined, due to insufficient funds.

"I said here is $50, just take it out of that."
The woman asked Ryan if she could repay him, but he said: "It's only $44, you'll be right - enjoy your day".
What a lad.

He explained that he felt a real need to help her because she looked so similar to his own grandmother, adding: "I just could not walk away,
"That's how my mum and dad brought me up."
Amazing. Well done, Ryan. You're an inspiration.
