A personal trainer is vowing to make a comeback after putting weight on over the coronavirus pandemic. Here he is showing his 'before' body and explaining what he's doing:

Luke Hines explained that he felt he needed a break a couple of years ago and decided to give himself two months of eating 'whatever I wanted'.

But admitted that soon enough that spiralled into 'close to two years of letting myself go'.

Speaking in the video, he said: "If you told me 12 months ago I would be stripping down to my jocks and weighing in in front of you, I would have laughed.

"In the last 12 to 18 months I've put on weight, fallen out of shape and fallen out of love with my own body.

"It's time to make a positive change and to keep myself accountable I'm bringing you guys along every step of the way."

Luke has vowed to share updated pictures of himself in 10 weeks time when the final weight in takes place.

He said: "When I film the final weigh in and show you my results, my goal is to stand up in front of you incredibly proud of what I achieved, giving you guys the inspiration and motivation to know anything is possible if you just make some small positive changes each and every day."

As well as feeling inspired by his 10-week regime of eating, moving and (hopefully) feeling better, people have also praised his authenticity.

Commenting on the clip, one person wrote: "Love you letting us in to experience the highs and lows Luke, kudos to you, and thank you for providing me with hope and inspiration on my similar journey."

Another added: "I think you looked perfectly stunning in your post @lukehinesonline however I am all for doing this stuff to make yourself happy."

And a third commented: "It's been a tough few years for all of us ... thanks for being real and even more inspiring."Someone else wrote: "You're beautiful Luke and we're here for your authenticity!"

Luke went on to explain how he will be tracking his weight, body mass index (BMI), body fat percentage, daily steps, sleep, heart health, body water, muscle mass and vascular age.
