If you dream of being buff, and eating curry and rice for breakfast, then this man is the hero you need.

Mike Harrison 'never liked' his skinny frame when he grew up, claiming others would mock his physique.

He said: "I was skinny and never liked how I looked. My mates used to make jokes in school and college, nothing that bad but still, it makes you notice it more."

Mike Harrison, back when people would joke about his figure.

... Now you definitely won't find anyone mocking him, that's for sure.

The 35-year-old, from Hull, had a stab at getting in shape in 2006 and after eight months of graft, he had transformed his body.

He said: "After six weeks I started to notice my body change; abs started to poke through stomach, gaining small noticeable biceps and pecs.

"A couple of months later, I noticed my back started to develop but my legs took a little longer. Eight months later and my physique had changed completely."

But Mike suffered a devastating setback when he broke his jaw, losing all his hard-earned gains within a matter of weeks.

Yet, he did not let the injury stop him completely, and as he approached his 30th birthday, he decided to commit to going to the gym five times a weeks. He also flipped his diet on its head, trading in microwave meals for... well, lots and lots of meals.

Fast forward to today, and he has gone from 8.5 stone to more than 13.5 stone, increasing his waist from 28 inches to 32 inches. He has even competed in body-building competitions.

Mike put on five stone in muscle... mock him now will ya.

He said: "I didn't win either but where I came from, even being up there is an achievement for me, being the skinny gaming kid that couldn't think he could do anything like that.

"I started to approach 30 and didn't want to have a 'dad bod'. I got back in the gym and really stuck at it this time.

"I'm trying to gain another 10lb in winter months, see if I can gain a bit leaner muscle and then cut down next year and maybe do a photo-shoot."

Absolutely magic, Mike.

In case you're curious, here is how he used to eat before he was hench:

Breakfast: Nothing

Lunch: 3 Weetabix with milk

Dinner: Chicken

Snacks: Mini microwave pizza (at night)

Chalk (left) and Cheese (right)... or maybe that should be the other way around.

And here is how he eats now:

Breakfast: 250g chicken breast, 90g white basmati rice, curry sauce

Lunch: 250g 5% beef mince, two jacket potatoes, chopped tomato homemade sauce

Dinner: 250g chicken breast, 90g white basmati rice, curry sauce

Snacks: 3x meal replacement shakes, 60g whey protein, 150g instant oats

Gym intra workout: 5g Creatine, 10g iBCAA, 10g gluatmine, 100g dextrose

I for one like the sound of that brekkie. Though it is important to note, having curry for breakfast everyday will result in you looking quite a lot different to him if you don't also regularly lift lots of heavy things.
