Incredible actions.

Times like these remind us about the evil in the world. We can't possibly comprehend what goes through these people's minds when they decide to kill innocent people.

Every time hate has come out in horrifying, unimaginable ways, members of the public have pushed back just as hard with actions of kindness and selflessness.

On Saturday night, a van crashed into pedestrians in London Bridge before a second incident in which the attackers went from bar to bar stabbing people around Borough Market in England's capital.

Within three hours, it was confirmed that it had been a terrorist attack.

However, before and since that announcement, amazing things have happened. Here's just a few of the incredible people of London who made us proud.

Sainsbury's Staff Hand Out Free Food To Police Officers

Some officers in London had been working through the night following the attack on London Bridge. Heroic members of the police have been praised for their selflessness and dedication during this tragic time.

The Guardian's Alice Ross was near to London Bridge earlier today, when she saw workers in Sainsbury's uniform with a trolley full of sandwiches and snacks, which they handed out to police officers.

The workers told the Telegraph: "We're not open until midday but we just wanted to give them some food because some of them have been working overnight.

"We have told them they can use our canteen and toilets if they need to throughout the day."

Aubrey Reynolds was out in a pub near to London Bridge, when armed police stormed in and started telling customers: "Get out. Run. Terrorist attack."

He told LADbible: "We were in shock. We put our drinks down and ran outside, but it was really busy and people were just running away from the bridge. We started running and then we heard gun fire behind us.

"We didn't really know what we were supposed to do so we just kept going. We eventually flagged down a black cab and told him what had happened, and he told us he had heard about it. He drove us back to Peckham, but he wouldn't take any money. His name was Tony Bright, and I'd just really like to thank him."

Geoff Ho, a journalist was stabbed in the throat after attempting to help a bouncer who was being attacked by terrorists.

Business editor at the Sunday Express, Geoff Ho, who is also a martial artist, ran in to help when he saw what he thought was a 'fight' outside the Southwark Tavern.

He posted on Facebook following the incident...

He wrote: "Don't know whether it was stupid or noble to jump in and break up the fight outside the Southwark Tavern, but two a*******s trying to do over the lone bouncer on the door isn't happening on my watch."

However, as we now know, the 'fight' was actually terrorists. They were slashing people at random, while terrified members of the public hid under tables and in basements.

Geoff was missing after the attack, but has now been found.

Woman Who 'Barricaded Restaurant Door With Her Body' To Keep Attackers Out

She reportedly stood at the door of the Black and Blue restaurant for a 'few seconds', but was eventually 'overpowered' by the attackers.

However, her heroic act had given time for those inside the chance to leave through a back door and get to safety.

He told Sky News: "There were two passengers, apparently they came out of the Black and Blue restaurant, and how they described to me was they were preventing the guys from getting into the restaurant.

"She actually knew that they were bad people basically and they tried to break in.

"She managed to hold the door for a few seconds. Then they were overpowered so they managed to escape through a rear door - possibly saving a good 20 peoples lives."
