Finding love isn't always easy. There may be plenty of fish in the sea, but many of them aren't the type you want flapping about in your boat.
Completely covering your body in tattoos is likely to reduce the amount of fish that find your bait alluring too.
But King of Inkland King Body Art The Extreme Ink-ite - who used to be called Mathew Whelan before he changed his name in 2008 - reckons the amount of shallow women out there has held him back in his pursuit of love.
Speaking to the Daily Star, he said: "A lot of women are really shallow and only go for guys with Love Island-type bodies."

As for his ink, the 39-year-old said they have a clear Marmite effect with the opposite sex.
He said: "I have a very active social life, but I haven't had much luck finding love.
"A lot of women are put off by my tattoos or it makes them really curious. I get other women who are just interested in me because of my tattoos.
"I'm a bit like Marmite so you either like them or you don't."

So ladies, if you wouldn't mind him slathered on your toast, give him a call.
King of Inkland King Body Art The Extreme Ink-ite has had plenty of relationships in the past, but now as he approaches 40, he is keen to settle down and have a family.
He told the Daily Star: "I've had about 15 to 20 relationships in my life and have definitely got more attention since I got my tattoos.

"But since my last relationship ended two years ago I haven't had anything serious.
"I'm nearly 40 so I would like to settle down and have a family. But at the same time I understand that the way I look might create an issue for some people."
It's good that he recognises that the tats aren't everyone's cup of tea, but when you hear the full extent of what he has had done, you realise his body modifications are an extremely niche brew indeed.
He has had more than 300 tattoos in total, including having the whites of his eyes dyed black. He even had his nipples removed to make room for more tattoos.

He's also had a knuckleduster implanted in his arm, a crown implanted in his hand and a skull implanted in his chest.
Oh, and he has also teeth marks carved into his ear and his tongue split in half.
So yeah, not quite the Love Island-type on paper.
