Ever fancied living in a palace? With gleaming floors, spiral staircases, sprawling grounds and the occasional peacock flittering about? Me neither, to be honest. I just like the idea of being waited on hand and foot.
Sadly, if you fancy living in Buckingham Palace you're going to have to be the one doing the serving.
But it still sounds sweeter than my first job in a café working for £3.30 an hour.

You'll be a 'Kitchen Porter' (effectively washing dishes, but, like... rich people dishes) and get £17,000 a year for the privilege. You can choose to live in the palace and your salary would get adjusted. But still... sweet.

As you can see, you get all your meals included (awesome) as well as 33 holiday days a year and 15% pension contribution. Also, what really intrigued me is the 'range of recreational activities'. Is this a monthly piss up?! Paint-balling with Prince Harry?! IT'S DRIVING ME MAD.
You do have to travel to Balmoral and Windsor Castle when they need you, but you'd be royal staff so I assume you'd get taken by helicopter or some shit.

They're keen to emphasise that experience isn't that much of an issue, with the website stating: "Our excellent training will provide you with all the skills you need, and so experience isn't essential. It's who you are that we're really interested in."
