A word of caution though - it's gonna be messy. Obviously.

If you wanna let your kids have a daft laugh in the bath, then it's time you bought some slime.

Parents have been raving about Slime Baff, which can be picked up from Aldi for just £2.99 ($3.98).

It's basically just a powder that turns your bath water into luminous goop, but children seem to love it.

Kids love slime time.

One mum shared a post about the product in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Group Facebook page.

She said: "This slime baff from Aldi is so fun! For £2.99, my son had so much fun in the bath!

"Just a little forewarning... it is incredibly slippery!! Even trying to catch him when he moved too quickly, we struggled holding him as his skin was so slippery.

"Still one very happy little man and money well spent."

Other parents responded to the post, reporting that the slime had gone down just as well with their nippers.

One person said: "If anyone has a bunch of crazy arse boys this is definitely a winner.

"I had originally got it for my five and six year old to put in bath. We left it 15 and it got so thick, then the 10 and 13-year-old spotted them sliding around and decided to grab swim trunks and jump in as well.

"Absolutely bloody crazy. But all slept well that night."

Another said: "We used this the other night. We had a very happy, but slippery two-year-old. I had to take over from his daddy, the slime freaked him out and made him gag."

So perhaps give it a miss if you reckon you might be particularly slime averse.

It's only a few quid from Aldi.

Also, be mindful that it's gonna be messy, obviously - it's slime. Make sure you wash it all out thoroughly too, so you don't have a slime slip next time you head to the tub.

It should be easy enough to wash away though, according to the product information on the Aldi website, which claims it is skin safe, drain safe and stain free.

A description reads: "Splish splash I was taking a bath! Mix things up and make bathtime totally fun and crazy with this Green Slime Baff.

"Skin safe, drain safe and certified biodegradable, this dissolving powder will not stain and will turn bath water into colourful goo, then back to water again. Perfect for making a splash!"

There are also other varieties, such as Glitter Slime and Smelli Gelli, if you fancy taking your ruin the bathroom game to the next level.

Happy slime time everyone.
