Warning - the video in this article is a bit graphic, so if you're squeamish you might want to give it a miss.

The Frenchman who calls himself 'Black Alien' has had two of his fingers removed in his latest extreme body modification. You can see a clip of him post-surgery here:

Anthony Loffredo, or Black Alien Project as he's known on social media, is completely covered in tattoos and has more than his fair share of piercings, but not content with that he's also undergone some pretty severe body modifications including having his nose and lips removed.

In his latest round of body mods, he flew out to Mexico where he opted to have two perfectly healthy fingers removed from his left hand.

Loffredo, 33, shared a video of his new look on Instagram, where he wrote 'I develop my inner peace' in English and Spanish.

Sharing a snap of his stitched up hand, he wrote 'Black Alien evolution 34%' alongside the caption, which appears to be an indication of where he thinks he's at in his full 'black alien' transformation.

As well as having his fingers and nose removed, he's also had both ears whipped off, his eyeballs tattooed black, dermal implants in his face and his tongue split in two.

His modifications have come at a price, though, as during an Instagram Live last year he explained that he struggled to speak after having his top lip removed, but that certainly doesn't seem to have put him off trying to achieve his goal.

And in an Instagram post he revealed plans to get his other hand similarly mutilated - telling his 728,000 followers: "Thanks to the energy...Preparation for the other hand.."

In another post, which showed Loffredo lying on a bed surrounded by a team of people in medical scrubs, he wrote: "On the other side of the world to continue my project, the procedure is going well, one more dream that it has just come true, thank you for doing your top job, thank you Mexico in my heart."

Explaining why he embarked on the project to become the 'Black Alien', he told French newspaper Midi Libre in 2017: "From a very young age, I have been passionate about mutations and transformations of the human body.

"I had a click when I was a security guard. I realised that I was not living my life the way I wanted. I stopped everything at 24 and left for Australia.

"It has become normal, even unconscious, to constantly think about my plans for the next few months.

"I love getting into the shoes of a scary character."
