A woman made more than £6,000 ($8,000) in a month by sharing her old holiday photos on OnlyFans.
Mekayla Bierman, 25, started her own YouTube channel all the way back in 2012, but while looking at switching up her content last year came across the OnlyFans platform.
After spotting how much money some people were making, Mekayla decided to set herself up on the subscription site.
Mekayla, who lives in Vancouver in Canada, started uploading old bikini photos from past holidays as well as snaps of her in her undies, which she'd already shared on her Instagram, and made more than £2,000 ($2,700) in under a week.
After making a YouTube clip about her experiences on the platform, Mekayla has pulled in more than £10,000 ($13,700) selling photos of her feet to people who are happy to part with up to £200 ($270) per picture.
Speaking about her experiences, Mekayla said: "In January 2020, I wanted to revamp my content and came across some other channels who had posted challenge videos, with one of them being the 'OnlyFans challenge' where you see how much money you can make in a week.
"Initially, I thought it would be a fun idea to try out but I had no idea how much money I would make off the subscription service in such a short space of time.
"I would post bikini pictures from past holidays or pictures of me in my underwear that I would have already posted on my Instagram, so it was nothing that I hadn't already put out there before.
"My girlfriend, Amy, made it known that although she supported me, she didn't feel comfortable with me posting fully nude images or videos, which I wasn't too comfortable with either and she helped me produce content by taking photos for me.
"After one week, I was completely overwhelmed as I had gained over 100 subscribers and had made over £2,000 which was absolutely crazy."
As well as having the full backing of her partner Amy, Mekayla says her family and friends have also been supportive of her decision to join the site.
And as for negative comments, Mekayla says she simply 'doesn't care' as she's managed to make herself a small fortune in a little over a year.
She added: "I don't care what men have to say about my content, as they're the ones who are buying it all up which helped me to buy a brand new computer for my parents, as well as a two-and-a-half week long trip around Australia which cost around £3,000 for me and my girlfriend.
"I have had a lot of requests for foot pictures and videos which has made me over £10,000 since I started my OnlyFans. I remember when I sprained my ankle on our trip to Australia, men were paying over the odds for a picture of my swollen foot.
"In my first month, I made over £6,000 alone and although I don't regularly post as much as I used to, money is still trickling in from old content and I believe making an OnlyFans was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
"I know my story is different from others and pretty rare considering how much I have made in such a short space of time, but it's your choice at the end of the day and especially during these trying times, if you want to try it, then just do it.
"OnlyFans has brought me financial stability that I never thought I'd have at this age and I believe it's a revolutionary social media platform that deserves a lot more credit for the amount of lives it has changed."
