A peaceful getaway is all well and good, but sometimes it's nice to go on a holiday which leaves you feeling much worse off than you did to start with. There are countless resorts across Europe that fit this bill perfectly, but Sunny Beach in Bulgaria appears to be tough to top.

Located on the coastline of the Black Sea, the destination has become a firm favourite among party-loving Brits, who flock there for affordable sun-soaked chaos.

In fact, Sunny Beach was found to be the cheapest holiday destination in the 11th Post Office Holiday Money Report.

Brits who have worked summer seasons out there invariably come back with plenty of tales of debauchery to tell.

John Magilton, 23, from Swansea, told Wales Online he saw his fair share of well, everything, while he was out there.

He said: "I've seen people falling asleep inside clubs and in weird places, as well as breaking or spraining their ankles, or cutting their feet with glass all the time from walking through the streets with no shoes on.

"You can also dance naked on the bar so sometimes you will get people who are naked falling off, which was quite strange, but it was part of the club I worked for.

"Girls and boys would be naked, they do say as part of their slogan 'the only place where you are allowed to dance naked on the bar' - it's different.

"One minute you would be dancing and the next thing you would look up and there would be someone there naked."

The resort has become infamous for its wild nightlife.

So basically, if you're big into your nudity, Sunny Beach could be the place for you.

Holiday-goers frequently visit sex workers out there too, as prostitution isn't illegal in Bulgaria, unless organised in brothels. However, the industry is believed to be linked to the country's criminal underworld.

The foreign office has warned Brits visiting the resort this summer about the dangers associated with coming into contact with sex workers in the area.

According to the Sun, they said: "We've received numerous reports of muggings and assaults of British nationals by prostitutes and their minders.

"Avoid areas where prostitutes operate, including car parks, the beach, badly lit areas and areas with bushes and tress.

"Tourists have been victims of overcharging in strip clubs and threatened with violence if they don't pay."

So by all means head out to Sunny Beach for a wild time... just try to keep your wits about you while you're at it.
