Hilarious Moment Woman Finds Potato In Packet Of Crisps

The only positive we can take from this is the fact that what fell out of Nadia Snow's packet of crisps was the very thing from which the product originates. And, at least it wasn't pet food, eh? The glass is always half full round here.

It's no wonder the Lidl pack of ready salted has about three additional crisps inside considering the weight would have been made up solely from the whole spud alone.

The entire episode would have pissed on many people's chips but for 26-year-old Nadia from Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, it 'brightened up' her day.

Which is quite a good job really, especially when Lidl made light of the situation.

Responding to LADbible, the supermarket said: "This is a real hot potato of an issue. Whilst a whole potato crisp might be a-peeling to some, we would like to take the opportunity to chip in and apologise to the customer for any distress caused."

Nice to see they've taken a choking hazard seriously. Only joking, Lidl. See, we can be funny, too.

When we spoke to Nadia, she told LADbible: "I can't think how much I paid, probably no more than £1.50 for all 6 packets.

"I just went and grabbed a pack and it felt really heavy so I asked my friend to open them while I recorded it to see what was in there and that's what it was.

"We just thought it was hilarious to be honest - couldn't understand how it had managed to happen though.

"I thought it might have just been all the crisps inside stuck together! I think it was cooked because it was really mushy and soggy. There were a few crisps in there too.

"It was absolutely hilarious. Definitely brightened up an otherwise boring Wednesday afternoon, the last thing I expected to fall out of a packet of crisps was a potato.

"Looks like I've got a new ice breaker out of it though."

So there we have it, a potato in a packet of crisps - not the most horrifying thing we've ever seen, I mean, back in July Cheetos were voted the 'World's Best Crisp' and you don't get much more offensive than that now, do you?
