A Brazilian woman has been left with horrific injuries following a botched bum lift operation.
Mum-of-three Angela Pedrosa allegedly had 300mls of industrial silicone injected into both cheeks by a bogus doctor in Rio de Janeiro in her pursuit of a bigger behind.
She was subsequently hospitalised for two months as doctors fought to save her life, removing decomposing flesh caused by necrosis, which causes tissue cells to die.

These procedures have left the 26-year-old with unsightly crater-like scars on each bum cheek - and she is not out of the woods yet.
On Wednesday, she was told she will need further surgery to repair the damage and reconstruct her disfigured bottom by transferring fat from areas of her body to create more fullness in her glutes.
This will be Mrs Pedrosa's second bum lift procedure which, according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, has an alarming mortality rate.
However, Mrs Pedrosa doesn't have a preferable alternative, as the dents caused by her botched procedure have not only damaged her self-esteem, but also cause her constant pain.

Last month, plastic surgeons attempted to use liposuction to repair her bum, using fat deposits from her thighs. Unfortunately though, some of these deposits were rejected and began to rot, leaving her rear lop-sided.
It is hoped that the next procedure - which will use fat deposits from her stomach - will balance out her bum, but this operation has been delayed while she recovers from the previous surgery.
Mrs Pedrosa is far from the first person to regret having a Brazilian bum lift. Earlier this month, an Instagram influencer said she wanted her cut-price bum lift to be reversed.

Sophie Elise, 24, from Oslo in Norway, said she flew out to Turkey when she was 19 to get the cut-price surgery, but now says she regrets ever going under the knife.
Ms Elise claims the Turkish clinic didn't even offer her a consultation before the surgery and she is less than happy with the results.
Writing on her blog, she said: "I'm tired of having an a** which doesn't look natural.

"I didn't think about consistency and what I'd want to look like at 50 years old.
"Now that I'm older, I think in a completely different way and the choices I make, whether physical or mental, should be ones I can live with forever."
She now plans to jet out to Los Angeles to have the procedure reversed and get her natural bum back.
