Dom Whiting, 25, became an unexpected viral hit after sharing live streams of himself putting on his unique DJ sets as he travels around the UK.

Music-loving Dom said he got the idea from a pal but initially wasn't sure he'd be able to pull it off.

Speaking to LADbible, Dom said: "I did a couple of whacky static livestreams and figured that actually, a moving background is such a key part in making any livestream successful.

"I then went out for a drink one night with a friend and she suggested trying to somehow mount the decks to the bike... I didn't take it seriously at first but by the next morning I was searching and now we're here!"

Dom's streams, which see him cycling around a town or city, have since exploded racking up hundreds of thousands of views.

Talking about the popularity of his streams, Dom added: "It's good to know that people like it - in the chats it's mostly everyone loving it and wanting to know where I'm going next."

And Dom says the response from the general public who see him and about is also positive.

"Everyone appreciates it," he said. "I've not really had any negative feedback from people when I'm out live."

But as you can probably imagine, it's not without its dangers, and Dom admits that he 'nearly crashed whilst sharp turning'.

So far, Dom has played drum and bass in numerous towns and cities including Oxford, Bristol and London, as well as heading to Maidenhead to blast out a bit of techno.

Although he's been really pleased with all his DJing journeys, Dom says he has a particular soft spot for the set he did in Bristol.

He said: "They've all been great, however, I must say I was the most humbled with the Bristol trip as people came from as far as Wales and Liverpool."

As for the future, Dom doesn't have a set plan but he promises whatever happens there will be more DJ cycling sets soon.

Opening up about what he wants to do next, he said: "It's like the weather. It changes all the time, but it would be totally unique and awesome to take this abroad.

"Until then my main aim is to bring a good stream to the people and to get round hitting as many towns as possible bringing the music back."

You can check out Dom's previous streams, and keep up to date with his new ones here.
