Commuters this morning are experiencing congestion and delays on the M6 motorway following two separate incidents on the northbound carriageway.
The first crash which involved five vehicles happened around 7.15am between junctions J33 and J34.
Police have said that no serious injuries have been reported. All three lanes of the motorway are now open again. A spokesman for the police said: "We received reports of a crash on the M6 near Lancaster this morning. The accident happened in lane three."

collided with that car."
The latest from the
Traffic England incident report says "The event is expected to clear
between 09:45 and 10:00" and "Normal traffic conditions are expected
between 10:30 and 10:45". At the time of writing there are currently
delays of 30 minutes against expected traffic.
Earlier on this
morning, one lane was closed northbound between Junction 36 for Barrow and
Junction 37 following a separate incident..
