The Winter and Summer Olympics has so much emotion attached to it that it's hard not to start bawling during a particular moment. Everyone knows these athletes, some of which are very young, have worked their absolute asses off for years to get to this point and the line separating success and failure is so slim. Simply getting to the most illustrious sporting competition in the world is a feat in itself.
But obviously someone has to come first and someone has to come last.
However, a beautiful moment occurred during the 15km cross-country event when Mexican skier German Madrazo crossed the line.
For starters, the 43-year-old only put on skis for the first-time last year, so the fact that he rocketed up to be one of the country's best and got to Pyeongchang, South Korea is amazing.

You try taking up any sport at that age and get to the Olympics.
Unfortunately for German, he crossed the line last and was 26 minutes slower than the bloke who took out the gold. Finishing that far behind, you'd think everyone would have cleared off, the medal ceremony would have been done and dusted, and Mr Madrazo would have had a miserable day.
But no.
Before he came to the finish line, he grabbed a Mexican flag from someone on the sidelines, held it in the air and couldn't wipe the smile off his face. Not only that, but skiers from Morocco, Tonga, Portugal and Columbia were waiting for him to give him the applause he deserved.
They lifted him in the air like he was a champion, because, at the end of the day, being the best person in his country meant he was a winner in some respects.
People on social media thought while he didn't get the gold, that moment was golden.
People all around the world have been touched by German's hard work and dedication. His Olympic profile shows he's a business owner with a wife, three kids and has competed in triathlons in the past.
He apparently became interested in cross-country skiing after reading about Peruvian athlete Roberto Carcelan who took up the sport.
He went to South America to get more information about the skiing style from the man himself, and then formed a coalition with Chilean skier Yonathan Fernandez and Tongan skier Pita Taufatofua, and they formed an independent training group to get ready for Pyeongchang.
What an absolute legend.
