A bully who drove an hour to challenge a boxing coach had his plan spectacularly backfire. Watch here:

The video emerged on YouTube and was posted by the owner of the gym, which is in Florida.

The coach wrote: "This guy in the video drove one hour to my gym just to fight with me.

"He said he has been in and out of prison, he has anger issues and was looking for somewhere to train.

"But first he wanted to get in the ring with me. He said he's been in many street fights. Also many fights while being locked up."

He added: "I had no intention to even spar because I was on crutches and freshly out of hip surgery.

"After I showed him my crutches he went on to call me a kitty cat and said are you backing out.

"He is a bully that needed to be humbled."

The pair can be seen sparring before the coach knocked him to the ground.

The video has over 8 million views on YouTube with many commenting to share their thoughts.

One wrote: "Bro, take the gloves off, concede defeat, apologize like a man, and sign up for a class or two. You're beaten. Sitting there in that ring taking a beaten just further demonstrates the level of idiocy. Good lord."

Another heaped praise on the coach's techniques, saying: "I love that he's only trying to humble and educate him, not humiliate him. That's a true coach/mentor."

Others couldn't help but joke about the guy's weak AF punches.

One said: "He hits like when you're in those dreams where you can't barely move," while someone else likened his swings to 'swimming arms'.

Another shared his own experience with the sport.

He wrote: "Awesome coach. My first boxing gym I had this done to me sadly by a not-so-nice coach. Put me in there with his son to see if I would come back after getting a beating or whatever.

"I was 14 years old and took a hell of a beating, I wanted to learn to box because I loved watching boxing. I wasn't a tough kid or anything, I didn't run my mouth or challenge anyone, I didn't even have a mouthguard.

"Got beat down in front of 30 or so people for no reason. Went back a few times after to prove that I could take the beating, but I just felt embarrassed being there after that so stopped going."
