Facebook's Brand New 'Like' System Also Allows You To Hate

For years we've begged Facebook for a dislike button: A feature that can be used to quickly show your disapproval of some shite on your timeline.

Finally, they've given us that power, among other things, with a new 'Like' feature.

An emoji system has been added to the 'Like' button on a post. It gives you the option to select a variety of emotions: You can now like a post, love it, find it funny, find it amazing, or show you are sad or angry about it.

All you need to do is hover your cursor over the like button and the options will appear. Alternatively, you can simply hit the Like button for a regular 'Like' if the post doesn't strike up any of these emotions.

It's also available on the mobile app - just simply hold down the the Like option and the same six emojis will appear.
