When it comes to getting your mitts on the new PlayStation 5 there can be no risks taken, like sleeping through your alarm or getting to the store late only to find they've sold out of the console.
There have been a few people with a really simple solution - just sleep outside the shop you're going to be buying it from.
This is exactly what some people, who we assume were unlucky and didn't get the chance to pre-order, have resorted to doing.
But while most were using sleeping bags or folding chairs to get themselves comfy, there were two dedicated gamers that slept outside a GameStop store in their own beds.

In Norfolk, Virginia, these guys ferried their mattresses and bedding to camp outside the store in comfort. Oh and they also dodged Thanksgiving to be at the front of the queue.
According to reports on social media, one of the men reportedly decided to camp outside after he tried 11 (yes, eleven) different stores which all had eye-watering queues.
Eugene Daniel, a reporter for ABC's 13News Now, posted an update not long ago showing that the guys did manage to get their hands on the PS5. Phew.
At another store, hopeful PS5 owners were seen taking advantage of a little free time. As they waited outside in the line, they had put together a full gaming set-up.

There was a TV, chairs, a console and it was all powered from someone's truck which was parked just metres away.
One person commented: "They really packed up their living and set it up outside."
While another added: "I drove by on Wednesday night and saw these two unpacking the TV from their truck. No idea how long they were waiting, but they definitely got there sometime Wednesday afternoon."
