We all take WiFi for granted these days. To be honest, we're fairly outraged when a public space won't offer it to us.
We certainly pay no attention to the signals that are surrounding us.
In order to outline this fact, designer Luis Hernan aimed to create a photo collection of what the WiFi signals that travel through the air around us look like. To do this, he used long exposure photography and a Kirlian Device that visulises WiFi signal strength into colours. The red colours show high intensity whereas blue colours show low intensity.

It's likely that these pictures will have no effect of your WiFi surfing activities, but at least you know what it looks like now.
