Not a day goes by without another internet star being born on TikTok and the latest creator people are honing in on goes by the name 'Preppy Claws'.
Who is Preppy Claws and Why are they famous?
Preppy Claws is a rather mysterious content creator on TikTok who creates dance videos wearing a skeleton costume and pink cowboy hat.

As of December 2021, Preppy Claws has amassed more than 1.8 million followers with just 20 videos published on the platform.
This video below has racked up more than 37 million views and 6.2 million likes.
As their costume disguises them, it’s practically impossible to identify Preppy Claws or even determine what gender they are. But considering they referred to themselves as ‘Ms Claws’ in one of their videos, we assume Preppy Claws is female.

Preppy Claws describes herself as a “Skel/Eton” on TikTok, whatever that means, and, “Just a skeleton who loves to dance and put smiles on peoples faces,” in her YouTube description.

Preppy Claws appears to be fairly new to Instagram, with just three posts on her grid and eight-thousand followers. Likewise, Preppy Claws only joined YouTube in December 2021 and, as of that month, has 645 subscribers.

It’s possible that Preppy Claws could be a professional or semi-professional dancer with the level of skill and acrobatics she demonstrates in her videos. At the moment, it looks like Preppy Claws creates content purely to entertain fans, but is looking to start monetising off her following with “DM for collabs” written in her Instagram bio.
Fans are growing antsy though, and keep commenting on Preppy’s videos asking when the face reveal will be. One fan asked Preppy Claws if she’d do a reveal once she reaches two million followers, but the creator hasn’t responded.
