Have you ever thought you were destined for life at sea but you just haven't had the guts to set sail? Do you harbour (pardon the pun) a secret desire to live on a boat despite suffering from sea sickness?

Well, we may have the Airbnb just for you. Affectionately named Nesbit, this unique accommodation option has all the charm of ocean life despite being conveniently located firmly on land.

To be exact, the 'land boat' is located in a private garden just a 10 minute drive from Kinsale. The boat, once destined for the scrap heap, became a lockdown fixer upper project for its owners who transformed it into a compact and cosy Airbnb like no other.

At just 37 feet long, it's not exactly spacious but it manages to fit in everything you need for a relaxing countryside staycation.

It's fully equipped for a self-catering holiday, complete with a galley kitchen with sink, hob, grill, microwave, kettle, toaster, and small fridge. You'll also find a double and single bed, and an electric shower to ensure you're feeling refreshed each morning for a day of exploring the magnificent beaches nearby.

There's a cute picnic area in the garden where you'll also get to enjoy the company of three donkeys that live in the field next door.

Don't just take our word for it however - the boat's glowing reviews speak for themselves.

"Nesbitt is an absolute delight to be in, equipped well enough for your stay. Bathroom's a bit tight but hey you're on a boat and that's part of the experience, and you'll enjoy that too," said one guest named Savio.

"Dawna has a nice little folder with all the info of the things to do and places to eat around the area and a bit of history about the boat. No wonder this is always a rare find so if you get availability, grab it and enjoy the experience."

If you're still not convinced, the price will have you packing your bags and yelling 'Land ahoy!' before you know it - a night in Nesbit will only set you back €95. You can book yourself a stay on the boat here.
