This Restored Swiss Army Truck In Belfast Is The Ultimate Glamping Set Up

Situated on the grounds of Larchfield Estate in Co. Antrim, this luxury glamping truck (affectionately named Myrtle by the Estate) is described as 'outdoor camping with a difference, a return to nature, but with a truly luxurious edge' and it's not difficult to see why.

Available to book from April to October each year, Myrtle comes with everything you need for the ultimate relaxation getaway, come sunshine or rain. On sunnier days, guests can sunbathe on the deck or enjoy a sundowner cocktail or two as they take in the stunning views which surrounding them.

Or if it's more on the chilly side, they may opt to cosy up by the woodburning stove or outdoor fire pit with a book and a cup of hot chocolate or a perhaps a hot toddy? And if you really want to crank the temperature, there's even a custom-built sauna attached to the truck in which you can sweat out all your demons as you peer out onto nature's doorstep.

A toilet and shower facility located just a step away from the entrance doorway means you won't have to worry about venturing through the vegetation in the pitch black in search of a midnight bathroom break. The glamping truck is buried in the heart of the estate's woodlands meaning you won't have to worry about privacy from any neighbours around here either.

Other quirky finishing touches include a Bluetooth Auna gramophone so you can set the mood with your favourite tunes, a toasty stove and chandelier lighting for ultimate extravagance.
