People Are Calling For Takeshi’s Castle To Be Put On Netflix

Netflix has released some absolutely huge shows in the last few years: You, Stranger Things and Sex Education, to name but a few.

Sometimes though, you just wanna kick back and watch people humiliate themselves as they attempt to tackle an array of bizarre obstacle courses - so why the hell hasn't the streaming giant bagged Takeshi's Castle already?

Whether you're working from home and need a bit of light relief, or nursing a horrific hangover and just want to feel a bit better about yourself, Takeshi's Castle is a tried and tested favourite.

As such, people have had quite enough of it not being on Netflix, as you can see:

You get the picture.

The Japanese game show originally aired between 1986 and 1990, but it went on to become an international cult hit around the world.

It's enduring popularity in the UK was proven earlier this year when it was voted as the most missed game show.

LADbible ran a couple of polls on Twitter, with Takeshi's Castle just edging the competition.

The final heat was surprisingly close, with Total Wipeout going up against Gladiators and Takeshi's Castle - the latter being the victor with 37.4 percent of the vote.

Now stick it on Netflix already.
