Aldi Is Selling Two New Kinds Of Fruity Cider For 99p Each

Rhubarb and pink grapefruit, or peach, mango and lime flavour?

Aldi has released a couple of new flavours of fruity cider that cost just 99p each, and it looks like the supermarket might just have timed this launch to perfection.

Not sure if you've noticed this or not, but this weekend feels a bit different to the rest of June so far. If you have a quick glance out of the window, you might catch sight of a gigantic ball of energy blazing in the sky.

Remember that? It's called the sun.

Oh, and please don't actually look directly at the sun.

Anyway, Aldi's two new canned cider drinks are made by Swedish company älska and you can catch two mouth-watering flavours for your summer barbecue.

Aldi

First up, rhubarb and pink grapefruit flavour. That's a bit out there, but let's give it the benefit of the doubt, eh?

One person on Twitter has even described it as: "Delicious, a fruity fix." It's got to be worth a try.

If that's not for you, how about peach, mango and lime flavour? Sounds pretty damn tasty.

Both of the ciders are vegan friendly and completely gluten free. Oh, and did we mention that they're only 99p each?

We did? Well, it bears repeating.

For your quid (or just less) you get a 330ml can of cider with a 4% ABV level. According to a few folk who've tried it, it's pretty good stuff.

If you're feeling even more unprepared for this sudden switch into summer, there are a few other things that you could try to snap up to turn things around.

For example, how about this outdoor pizza oven that Lidl is selling for £100?

Lidl

That's great value for a free standing pizza oven. Perfect for a bit of al fresco dining in your back garden. It'll allow you to bake perfect stone-baked pizzas right there outside your house for way less than you'd pay for most ovens.

Hell, even the version they're selling at Wilko is £120.

For a bit of shade, you can still pick up a lovely gazebo from Argos. It was being sold at the end of May for £197.99. That's around £130 cheaper than the recommended retail price.

Oh, and it's got a bar built into it.

Argos

Yes. It's got a bar built into it.

Stick a mini-fridge in that and you're away. If you weren't ready for this sudden summer turnaround before, you would be by this point.

Get out there and enjoy yourself.
