If you've not surfaced out of bed yet, you might not know but the sun is out. But it is. A lot.
We repeat, the sun is out. And it's hanging around all day as temperatures are set to soar to some of the highest we'll see this year.
It's warm - some might say boiling - and the only thing we want back in our lives is a beer garden and somewhere for a dip to stay cool. And the absence of coronavirus, obviously.

We're finding joy in the little things, now that the novelty of banana bread has well and truly worn off. But it might be time to start enjoying the larger things in life as well - like this nine-foot paddling pool from Argos.
The 500 litre pool can be used to keep your children (or you) entertained for hours and if you don't have kids, we all know there's nothing better than having an ice cold, floating crate of beers right in front of us - meaning no more journeys to the kitchen every 10 minutes and the fridge isn't crammed. And for £22 ($27) it really is a bargain.
The pool comes complete with 'printed ocean creatures which are bright and colourful to help spark ideas and encourage imaginative play in the water', it says here. The figure eight design makes sure that your children have plenty of space to play - and your cans/bottles have plenty of room to float.

Even better still, the pool comes as part of Argos' 2 for £30 range - meaning that you can add another product on to your order and save some cash at the same time. Bargs.
Other items in the deal include a three-foot slide for £25 (meaning you'd save £17), a tennis, badminton and volleyball set for £20 (which would save you £12) and a double slide (think slip and slide) for £18 (saving you a tenner).
According to Argos' website there is limited stock of the nine-foot 'Ocean Lagoon' pool so be quick - they're selling out fast and with 1,186 reviews giving it 4.7 stars out of five - what's not to love?

Reviewing the pool, one person wrote: "Great size pool for the kids, keeps them amused for hours. Then you can water the garden with what's left in it." Every cloud, eh?
Another added: "We got it just in time for the hot spell. It is bigger than I'd expected, but that was a bonus for the boys. It didn't take too long to pump up with a cheap foot pump, but it did take a lot of water. The boys spent hours running and jumping in - it was great fun."
A third commented: "Perfect kids love it as do the adults. Brilliant pool and large enough. Kids love it and it's good quality. Really helped out through lock down."
