Struggling to keep the kids entertained during the coronavirus lockdown? Finding it tricky to keep your other half busy? Or maybe you could just do with a good laugh at your own expense?

Well, ASDA might be the answer you've been looking for because the supermarket is selling a slip-n-slide for a tenner, so it might be worth having a scout around for one on your next (essential) shopping trip or adding it to your home delivery.

Does this look like your idea of fun? Get yourself down to ASDA.

The Bestway double slide is available in store and online for £10 ($12) or you can get the single, one lane version for £5 ($6.20).

The description reads: "No tools necessary. Connect adapter to a garden hose and GO! 18 feet of slide with two lanes is perfect for racing and entertaining groups. Water funnels into drench pool for a big splash landing at the finish line. Built-in sprinklers provide cascade effect and keep the lanes slick."

The slide was brought to everyone's attention after it was posted on the Facebook group 'Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK'.

The post read: "Slip sliding fun for £10 from Asda ! In store and online. Used our existing slide (Argos) to add to the fun."

This could be yours for £10.

The post has racked up over 1,000 reactions and more than 600 comments from people that have been inspired by the idea.

One person wrote: "I wanna have a go," while another suggested: "Used to love this when we was little we used to put some washing up soap on it too."

Many others took the time to tag their Facebook friends in the post. One commented: "This would be good for the boys to add to the bottom of your slide," with someone else saying: "You could do it on the hill outside."

Like some people said, you could add washing up liquid or soap to make the slide more slippery but if you don't want to waste that (we are in lockdown after all), it might be worth digging out the lube. No joke.

That's what one mum did during a spell of hot weather last year and dubbed it a 'parenting hack'.

Mum-of-five Lisa Burgin wanted to help her son, Charlie, cool down so she set up the slide on the lawn and, when Charlie demanded to go faster, a quick-thinking Lisa squirted an Ann Summers lubricant all over it. Fair enough...
