A chance 'to get away from it all'.

This week has been a tough one for the city of Manchester. On Monday night, 22 people lost their lives in a suicide bombing at the Manchester Arena at the end of an Ariana Grande concert.

Since then, the city has stood firm. In the hardest week we've witnessed heroes emerge from across the region, from the homeless to the emergency services, and further afield.

The city received its biggest unification at the vigil on Tuesday evening, and poet Tony Walsh, AKA 'Longfella' told us everything that is great about the city.

And, whereas those who live in the Manchester, and friends of the victims, have showed a rally of support and shared the good times they remember, nobody can imagine the pain and hurt of the families who have lost a loved one.

Children as young as eight were killed in the bombing, but a crowdfunding appeal has smashed its original target and now aims to raise £2million in support.

Now, there's been another kind and generous offer. The former winners of Channel 4's Four In A Bed have now offered a free holiday to the families of the 22 to help 'get away from it all'.

In a Facebook post, the owner of The Kings Head in Addlethorpe, Skegness, Helen Coy wrote: "Not really sure how to go about this but we would like to offer all the families of the Manchester attack a free holiday here in our six-berth static with private hot tub free of charge even if it's to just get away from it all and have a relaxing break with your family."

She added: "I need everyone to share this in the hope that someone in Manchester or wherever they are to just contact us and we will sort you a three night stay throughout the year and even next year.

"Please private messenger me and I will with all the love and hope in my heart give you a break of breathing space and quality time with your loved ones."

LADbible spoke to Helen, who said that she just wants to help those that are in most of need.

She said: "It was just a case of giving the families who have lost someone a chance to get away from it all, and breathe.

"I'm a people lover, and I would hope that someone would do it for me if I was in the same shoes. If that was us, we'd hope that someone could give us a break.

"If they want to come down and lock themselves away they can, if they just want to talk to strangers then the pub is there, and they can do that also."

Helen said that it's important during this difficult time that the good of the world pull together. The families will be treated to a holiday static caravan on site which is a mile from the beaches - a 'great place to go and collect your thoughts together', according to landlord.

She said: "It has affected everybody that you speak to. I was in Spain when it happened and people came up to me to show support. It was phenomenal.

"Of course, it has brought us all together. It shouldn't happen, but it does. The holiday makers who are here at the minute are scared to even go into Skegness - a big place for tourists.

"I would just like to offer a chance to get away from it all."
