A Specsavers employee in Liverpool may have unwittingly given the opticians giant their next advert idea, after she crashed a vehicle bearing the company's logo into a lamppost.
According to The Liverpool Echo, the incident took place at about lunchtime today, although details of exactly how and why it happened haven't been made clear.
Liverpool Council were called to the scene of the accident and immediately made, via Twitter, a very obvious, but still very funny joke, riffing off the company's well-known advertising slogan that was coined in 2002 and has since been ingrained into our collective consciousness after a slew of funny ads.

They weren't the only ones to make the joke either:

Of course, it wouldn't be funny in the slightest if the driver, who's used to people yelling the phrase at her as she drives past, had been injured in the collision. She did have to go to hospital, but thankfully is absolutely fine.
"I'm used to hearing the phrase shouted out by kids, but I actually had to go to hospital after the crash, as I was so shaken," she told the Echo after contacting them. "Thankfully I'm fine now and safely back at home."
We're glad she's safe and sound and came away unscathed. We're also grateful, too, for the comic relief the incident has provided. She certainly warrants royalties if Specsavers decide to base their next ad on the incident.
