This video shows the moment a DPD delivery driver was seen 'launching' parcels to another vehicle after one of the vans broke down:
Posting the video on to the official DPD Facebook page, Ellie Wilson - who filmed the 20 second clip - wrote: "Dpd broke down outside my house so they had to load onto another van... this is how they treat parcels!"

One person commented: "Not going to lie but no parcel company is perfect but that is ridiculous."
Another said: "What a p***k no wonder the drivers are liable for their insurance. Breaking people's things."
A third was more sympathetic, writing: "The customer won't be affected by this. If any parcel that wasn't labelled as fragile or properly packed get damaged the sender will send you a replacement.
"Every single parcel that's fragile gets handled properly and carried to its location.

"The rest of them (like clothes, shoes, flyers, hand tools, washing and cleaning products etc) are getting moved as quick as possible so the customers can receive them today in that 1hour time slot that they wish."
Someone else sympathised with the delivery staff and wrote: "Half of you wouldn't have had a Christmas this year if it wasn't for us delivery companies.
"Think yourselves lucky and to the guy loading these parcels on to another van, fair play you, least your customers are still getting what they ordered."

A fifth added: "And if driver turns up late dpd and driver will still be blamed right."
Ellie replied to one of the comments defending the drivers, saying: "We had over 4 people comment on our local community page saying there packaged [sic] arrived from DPD broken.
"Also if they load them like that in the deport [sic], that's not my business. If you load like that in front of houses... bigger fool you!"
A DPD spokesperson told LADbible: "At DPD we take customer service and the behaviour of our staff very seriously indeed, which is why we've topped the Money Saving Expert parcel delivery customer satisfaction poll for the last seven years.

"Clearly, the behaviour here falls a long way short of what we expect from our drivers. We are carrying out a full investigation and will take action, as appropriate."
