A 'Peaky Blinders' Theme Bar Is Opening In Liverpool

It's got a cocktail list that would even be able to put a smile on Tommy Shelby's face.

Have you ever been watching Peaky Blinders and just really wanted to pop down to The Garrison Tavern for a quiet pint with the gang only to have your dreams shattered when you remember you don't live in 1920s Birmingham? Because, same.

Well, I might have a bit of good news for you in the form of a Peaky Blinders bar, which is opening in Liverpool next month.

The 1920s themed bar is set to open in the Baltic Triangle area of the city, according to the Liverpool Echo. And will offer your standard beers, wines and spirits, as well as an impressive list of cocktails featuring drinks named after characters from the show.

Fancy a Thomas Shelby? A large vodka, Martini Extra Dry and bitters shaken and served with a lemon twist. Or maybe you're more of a Naughty Ada fan? A concoction of Herradura, passionfruit, basil, lime served with jalapenos.

As well as the substantial cocktail list, the bar is fully kitted out to make you feel like you've taken a step-back in time, with period wallpaper, Victorian fixtures and lighting.

The team opening the bar also run the successful Peaky Blinders themed bar in Southport, also in the north west, so they know what they're doing.

I think it's fair to say that the bar staff will be pretty sick of people asking for their drinks 'by the order of the Peaky Blinders', but I reckon I'll end up doing it anyway.

The bar is due to open on 18 December - just in time for your festive drinks. You can find out more here.

If you're outside of the north west, you can still celebrate the return of the show with a Peaky Blinders-themed ale available at Aldi.

The 'Peaky Blinder' brew is described by Black Country brewery Sadler's as 'dark and delicious', a Black Indian Pale Ale with an ABV of 4.4 percent.

It's brewed with five different malts and five different hop varieties and is available in cask, bottle and keg.

Speaking about the product, Managing Director of Sadler's Brewing Company, Chris Sadler told LADbible: "This is a beer we love to brew and we are very proud to have supplied the past premieres and launch events for the Peaky Blinders TV series

"Dark beers were very popular in the early 20th Century and it's nice to see this fashion returning for the modern day beer drinker

"Linking this epic beer to our region and the Peaky Blinders has been a great project for our brew team and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do"
