Lewis Capaldi Has 'Wee Accident' On Stage At Edinburgh Summer Sessions

He's only been trying his best to stay hydrated

Our pal Lewis C had a bit of a shocker while he was performing on stage last night at Edinburgh Summer Sessions, when he had a wee accident - as in actual wee.

Poor Lewis fell victim to his own bodily functions, announcing to the 6,000 strong crowd: "I've p****d my pants.

"I don't usually get embarrassed but this is a new low."

He told the crowd he'd been drinking a lot of water, trying to stay hydrated as it's good for the voice - when he tried to hit that high note though, the tiniest bit of wee dribbled down his leg.

Obviously, the man can do no wrong in the eyes of his adoring fans, so everyone saw the funny side.

I mean, nobody's perfect - we've all been there at one stage or another, haven't we? But Lewis's complete lack of filter just meant that he announced it to the crowd, where most of us would do our best to keep it secret.

The man of the moment has been selling out shows left, right and centre, having sold out his second of two Edinburgh Summer Sessions shows, which takes place tonight, in just minutes.

He's been in the news loads lately, with everything from one-sided celebrity beef with the likes of Noel Gallagher, which he then completely won by partying with Noel's daughter Anaïs, to chilling out with Elton John - as you do.

Back in June, Capaldi opened his Glastonbury set by screening a clip from the interview of Noel getting stuck into him several times on the screen, before appearing himself wearing a parka jacket, a Noel Gallagher t-shirt and a bucket hat.

The mocking entrance went down a treat with crowds and people watching from home, including Anaïs Gallagher it seems, who tweeted: "I want to be Lewis Capaldi when I grow up."

Apparently this is an ambition shared by 22-year-old Capaldi himself, who replied: "The feeling is mutual." Anaïs sent a follow up tweet which simply read: "Marry me?"

Noel will presumably be far less surprised though to see that his brother Liam appears to have taken Capaldi's side, posing for a picture with him after his set.

Noel and Capaldi's comparatively brief and light-hearted feud began a couple of weeks ago, when Noel used Capaldi as an example when discussing how 'f****** w***' music had become.

Speaking to Radio X, he said: "Music is f****** w*** at the moment. Who's this Capaldi fella? Who the f***'s that idiot?"

Capaldi was not left licking his wounds following the remarks though, rather he shared a series of videos on Instagram, describing being slagged off by Noel as his 'dreams coming true'.

You keep doing what you're doing Lewis, lad.
