The government has been handing out some very important advice amid the coronavirus pandemic but people can't help but notice the mishap in one of the latest pictures.

Downing Street's official Twitter account posted a picture of two (maybe three) women sat on the sofa with a dog sharing a bowl of snacks alongside the words: "For staying safe there's no place like home".

While it's agreed by all that everyone needs to take the message on board, it didn't stop people pointing out the fact that there's a black sleeved arm resting on the lady in the yellow jumper's leg.

Taking to Twitter, one person jumped to the assumption: "I'm concerned about the black sleeved hand on the calf of the woman on the right. It can't be hers because she has her left hand in the bowl. The other woman's left hand couldn't reach that far. THERE IS A 3rd WOMAN UNDER THE DOG."

Trying to give an explanation for the mysterious arm, someone responded: "No black sleeve, that's shadow, & yes she could reach that far your brain's just visually misinterpret the angle & how she's sitting."

Someone else suggested: "They're using the dog and popcorn to hide a non-household member who popped round to visit just as the government burst in for a photo shoot." Sounds entirely legit...

Another wrote: "Why are people in the replies struggling with this. They each have one hand on the bowl, the mystery arm is the left hand of the woman in the beige top, you can see the edge of her beige sleeve in the shadow if you zoom in (it's not a black sleeve)."
