Little Bradley Lowery was sent over 28,000 Christmas cards after an appeal was set up by an Everton fan. His parents say that Bradley now wishes to get as many cards as possible and people aren't letting him down.

Terminally ill Bradley is a massive Sunderland fan and last Wednesday he proudly walked his team out on to the pitch ahead of their game with Chelsea. He also scored against Chelsea's Asmir Begovic.

Since the appeal for Christmas cards was launched, Bradley has received thousands of cards and dozens of gifts.

His mum Gemma wrote on the Facebook page set up to help Bradley: "Can I just say up to now the response has been immense and we can't thank everyone enough for your kind words.

"We look forward to reading your kind words with Brad and the gifts and money he has received is fantastic.

"We want to say a huge thank you to you all for helping make Bradley's Christmas the most memorable ever."

So far he's received cards from as far away as Australia and New Zealand as well as right across the UK.

He's also been invited down to BBC Sports Personality of the Year awards tomorrow where he will make a special guest appearance.

If you want to send him a card you can post it to: 5 Attlee Avenue, Blackhall Rocks, Hartlepool TS27 4BY.
