Triple H has proven once again that he's an absolute LAD by flying to London to present an honorary WWE Championship belt to the off-duty police officer who was injured in the London Bridge terror attack.

25-year-old PC Charlie Guenigault was visited by Triple H (Former WWE wrestler and current Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events & Creative) after he got wind of his heroic actions in the face of unimaginable fear.

Charlie made headlines after rushing to help victims - despite being off-duty - and received stab wounds to his head, leg, back and stomach as a result.

You may be wondering what any of this has to do with WWE. Well, at the time of the attack, Charlie was wearing a t-shirt of WWE superstar, Sami Zayn.

Charlie didn't realise that he was going to meet Triple H, and when he entered the London hotel and was faced with the WWE legend, he said that he was completely taken aback, reports the Mirror.

He told the paper: "My comments when he first walked in the room are probably not suitable for a PG audience."

Triple H said: "The highest recognition a WWE Superstar can get is winning the WWE Championship. But this honour is also reserved for those in real life who go above and beyond.

"To run in the direction of a scary situation that can't even be described in words, to help others, for that to be your instinct to help others - that is a hero.

"People say a lot of times that they watch WWE because these guys are like real-life superheroes. Well, Charlie is a real hero."

Charlie added: "It was an absolute pleasure to meet one of the greatest Superstars ever."

Triple H wrote a personal message on the belt, which read: "To Charlie, thank you to a true hero!"

Sami Zayn also got involved, recording a special message for Charlie to be played at the meeting.

He said: "You put yourself in the line of danger at a time when you really had no obligation to do so,

"I can't tell you how much respect I have for you. The fact you were wearing my shirt at the time really puts it into perspective for me.

"Sami Zayn has always been the guy known to stand up to the bad guys, but you did it in the most horrific of circumstances.

"Man, I'm just blown away, I really am."

Respect.
