A fast-food restaurant in Manchester leaves out its left over food for the homeless after closing.

How lovely is that?

Bosu Body Bar, on Cross Street in Manchester, leaves out bags of leftover food at the end of each day to help out those who might need it, the Manchester Evening News reports.

The owners posted photos of bags of food on Facebook with the caption: "When we close the doors for the day, we promise to leave bags outside full of tasty food.

"If you see anyone on the streets of Manchester or Didsbury who look hungry, let them know where they can find a meal in a bag.

"Spread the love always."

The post quickly went with viral with thousands of likes and hundreds of shares and comments, heaping praise on the restaurant's owners for their kind deed. It's all been shared and talked about on Twitter and Instagram.

The owners of the restaurant told the paper they've now set up The Bosu Project to provide extra help to those in need as winter hits.

Michael Beck, who runs the restaurant with sister Sarah and their business partners Oliver Drummond and Josef Ramzi-Faddoul, told the MEN that they now plan to contact charities to organise collections for the food and to make sure that it goes to people who need it and that it's eaten at the correct temperature.

Speaking about the sudden viral-fame their kind actions attracted, Beck told the paper: "We post pictures of food all day long and sometimes they don't get any attention, then we woke up the next morning and I've never seen that many likes and shares.

"It was quite overwhelming. We're not the only ones doing it and we're certainly not the only people who care about people in need, but hopefully other people who have seen it will now do the same.

"It's either that or the bin, it's as simple as that." See, when he puts it like that, you really wonder why more places don't do it, don't you?

Let's hope more places follow Bosu Body Bar's example, eh?
