Curious Primate Gets Up To Some Monkey Business With Female Tourist

A husband had a bit of competition for his wife while they were both on holiday in Indonesia. The unnamed couple were at the Sacred Monkey Forest in Bali when some monkeys gave the woman some rather inappropriate attention:

As can be seen in the above video, one cheeky primate grabbed the woman's breast as she was sitting on the ground. She didn't have anything to get its attention - she wasn't waving a banana or anything - but the monkey climbed onto her head regardless, which is where the video, take by the woman's husband, begins.

It then drops down onto her shoulder and then sits on her leg. "He's my friend," she announces a few seconds before the monkey starts tugging at her shirt, exposing probably a little more than she'd bargained for.

"Hey, hey, that's my wife," says the husband in mock indignation as the monkey keeps tugging and then reaches its arm down between her breasts.

It continues to grope its way around her bosom for a few seconds before another monkey runs up from behind to join in the fun - at which point the original monkey runs off.

"Hey there, buddy, that's mine," announces the possessive-sounding husband to his wife's latest friend, which proceeds to then jump onto her shoulder.

"They love you," he says with a hint of jealousy in his voice, to which she replies: "I'm just a monkey!"

"Just stand up, he'll get off you," the husband says before the video ends.

Speaking of primates, it's been reported by the BBC that two monkeys have been cloned in China using the same technique that created Dolly the sheep back in 1996.

Zhong Zhong and Hua Hua are identical long-tailed macaques who were born a number of weeks ago at a laboratory in China.

While some have criticized the move as bringing the world one step closer to human cloning, Qiang Sun of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Neuroscience said the cloned monkeys will be useful as a model for studying diseases with a genetic basis, including some cancers, metabolic and immune disorders.

"There are a lot of questions about primate biology that can be studied by having this additional model," he said.

Hopefully these monkeys will know how to keep their hands to themselves.
