There's a well-established stereotype of posties and delivery guys being sworn enemies with beloved household pets.
Whether it's the cat unleashing its fury on a postman's hand as the day's mail is slipped gingerly through the letterbox, or a Jack Russell hanging by its jaws from the arse of a courier as they sprint down the garden path back towards their van - pets and delivery folk just don't seem to get along.
Well, that's what we thought... until now.
There's one dog-loving UPS guy over in the States who is putting that preconception to bed once and for all, after being caught on camera snapping selfies with one customer's pups. Watch the footage below...

Staci Burns of Athens, Louisiana filmed her local UPS (which in this case could stand for Ultimate Pup Selfies) delivery man, Doniel Kidd, in her yard with his arms around her three dogs, bringing them in for a heart-melting photo on his smartphone.
Staci posted a picture of the happy UPS driver and his canine pals on Facebook with the caption: "When you have the best UPS man on the planet..."
Staci's dogs seem to love Doniel and it's no wonder - she's on his regular route and says that he often takes the time to mess about with them when he drops off her parcels.
But Doniel's connection with the dogs doesn't end there. In the post the smallest dog - a red Australian Sheppard named Reba - nestles lovingly into Mr Kidd's lap.
The pup's affectionate behaviour is due to Mr Kidd rescuing her as a young pup when she ran away and got lost.
According to Ms Burns, Reba will often jump into the passenger seat of the UPS van when her favourite delivery driver arrives.
However, Staci's four-legged friends aren't the only local pooches to have taken a shine to Doniel...

"There are two dogs I've known since they were puppies: Willie and Millie," he told The Dodo.
"They don't allow FedEx to come around. They don't allow anyone to deliver to the house but me."
He added: "I'm an animal lover. If I can pet a dog, and make him feel good, I will."
"Kidd has lots of dog friends around the area," said Burns. "Everyone just loves him."
Staci uploaded her clip to Facebook where it has since gone viral with almost 1.5 million views and around 10k likes.
