Sometimes it's small acts of kindness that can brighten your entire day. That seems to be true no matter where in the world you are, as this video capturing the moment a fast food worker fed a young man with a disability is proving.

The viral video has been dubbed a 'beautiful' act of kindness - and it's hitting us right where it hurts.

In the heart-warming video the employee feeds the customer, who has an arm and leg disability, by putting the food directly into his mouth using a spoon.

The footage was posted on Facebook from Salvador, Brazil, at the weekend by Laurinha Victoria who was overwhelmed with emotion.

Laurinha said the gesture brought tears to her eyes and we can definitely see why.

She wrote in her post that the employee worked for Giraffas, a Brazilian fast-food chain. LADbible has contacted the company for a comment.

Laurinha said that the man asked her if she could collect his food but before she had chance, this worker was walking over with it.

The Facebook post that went with the video, originally written in Portuguese, reads: "Today I was overwhelmed with emotion with tears in my eyes when I saw this scene in the food court of North shopping.

"The young man with a disability in his leg and arms had already asked me to get his food when it was ready.

"When I got up, this employee was already taking it to the table.

"The employee of the restaurant Giraffas was putting food in the client's mouth.

"This is true charity, just beautiful.

"I went to him and said 'What a beautiful gesture, God bless you'."

After the video was posted online, one social media user commented: "If all were more in solidarity with each other, this world would be much better."

Another said: "Even in this cruel world, there will always be someone human with heart, congratulations to this special worker."

Someone else added: "Congratulations, for your beautiful gesture, and for your family that taught you to love the next."

According to MailOnline, the video has been viewed 14 million times since it was posted on Saturday and it has attracted more than 600,000 'like' and 'love' reactions on Facebook.

While we live in a world with a constant stream of bad news, it's always nice to see a random act of kindness like this one.

This LAD and others like him are making the world a much better place.
