Some people are using their time in lockdown to learn a new language or pick up a skill they always wanted to master. More of us than you might think are just trying to get by one day at a time. Then there's this LAD who's managed to catch a tennis ball at the back of his house - after hitting it from the front:

The incredible footage was posted by TikTok user Beetle Campbell and shows him hitting a tennis ball over his house before quickly sprinting inside and running full pelt through different rooms to get into the back garden.

Once there, he legs it towards the tennis ball - which is still in the air - before jumping to the group in an attempt to catch it. Incredibly he succeeds and the crowd go wild... well the person behind the camera.

Is this a new quarantine challenge?

The video, which has racked up nearly 42,000 views, has been dubbed a 'quarantine challenge'. The steps are simple: hit a tennis ball over your house, run through said house, catch the tennis ball. Just like that.

Well not really because a follow-up video posted by the tennis ball thrower/catcher shows there were many attempts at what eventually became an impressive accomplishment.

There were trips, slips and many drops but he got there in the end and that's what really matters.

Some people couldn't believe the clip was real with one writing: "People who acc believe that it's real," but Beetle is quick to reply: "Jokes on you bc it is".

Someone who is much more appreciative of the triumph wrote: "One handed catch for the win," while another said: "That's honestly crazy hahaha nicely done."

How many people are searching for a tennis ball to have a go?

In response to his growing fan base, Beetle explained the challenge took him 'a couple of hours' before admitting that it was 'hardddd'.

Over on Instagram, he wrote: "Many stubbed toes were sacrificed but got there in the end".

When he was asked how many attempts it took, he simply replied: "80," before the impressed new fan gave him a 12/10 for 'effort'.

Well, maybe now is the time to have a shot at this new challenge. After all, most of us have got the time on our hands and the energy to burn...
