Man Perfectly Recreates Harry Potter Theme Tune Using Washing Machine

The ending will kill you off

Lockdown boredom has really hit most of us, but a prime example of using your time creatively is this pair's version of the Harry Potter theme tune.

Two genius-level TikTok users have re-created the famous tune with the help of two washing machines.

One of the two friends (I'm assuming they're friends and haven't just bumped into each other at the laundrette) is standing and is on percussion, aka, the top washing machine. Using the knuckles to knock on the door, he combines this with a slam of the door to create a different sound.

The second one is kneeling on the floor, and unlike his mate who is just wearing normal clothes, is dressed as the man himself - HP. And this is where it starts to make your head hurt.

In what can only be described as Hogwarts-standard wizardry, he has worked out that putting on different settings all give a different tone of 'beep' and he's managed to work out which ones to press to recreate the famous tune.

As you can see from the video above, it looks like it would have taken them HOURS to work out.

It was shared on TikTok originally saying: "Harry Potter doing laundry be like," which then on the next clip gave a little plea to the public, with the caption: "This took hours, don't let it flop."

The end of the video pretty much kills you off though. After finishing his washing, Harry scurries off to his little cupboard and his mate shuts the door on him. Weird? Yep. Hilarious? Also yep.

It was shared on TikTok and got thousands of likes and views, before being shared to Twitter, where people also loved it.

One person, who was worried about the welfare of the kitchen appliance, commented: "Meanwhile the washing machine doesn't know whether its on a fast spin or a hot wash."

Another paid homage to the most satisfying couple of seconds of the video, replying: "The *clap* *clap* made me so happy, I don't know why."

Kurt Schneider, who posted the clip and stars as Harry, is actually a musician, producer and songwriter, which would explain his amazing washing machine skills. He describes himself on his TikTok platform as 'CEO of music with weird things', which seems pretty spot on based on this video.
